Go Cry About It!, is the culmination of my Masters in Visual Art degree. From January 1st to December 31st of 2024, I kept a record of every time I cried in a spreadsheet. I noted the date, location, time and reason why. At the end of the year, I had cried 158 times.

This ceramic work is a visual representation of the culminating dataset, presented in the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. The forms are handbuilt and the glazes were custom made. Next to the work is a dot matrix printer feeding out the data. To read more about this work, you can find my thesis text here.
